Dewey Auto Group Provides Transportation and Manpower For Westwood Elementary Food Drive

Dewey Auto Group once again this year provided assistance to Westwood Elementary School in Ankeny, IA for their annual food drive to benefit the Neveln Center in Ankeny.  Over a month long period of time, the students collect non-perishable food and  paper items to help the less fortunate in the area. Dewey Ford and Dewey Dodge Jeep Ram then helps out by providing trucks and employees who transport the items to the center.  This is an ongoing annual effort as a part of Dewey’s business partnership with Westwood Elementary.

The Neveln Center, Inc. serves the needs of area families on multiple levels. The vision is for the Center to provide a central location and coordination for resources of non-profit and people oriented organizations which are accessible to everyone in the community. The efforts of the center focus on coordination and collaborating with various area organizations, agencies and community groups to make services cost efficient and more available.

The center services currently include before and after-school day care, a clothing pantry where families with the basic need for clothing can obtain garments at no charge, fine art support and education, craft activities, as well as juvenile crime prevention, support for special needs young adults, counseling and referral resource for at-risk children in the Ankeny Community Schools.

Try the new 2012 Ford Escape Hybrid SUV!!

The most southeran state of the country is Florida and it almost never gets cold down there.  But let’s say that you live in a state that does get cold around certain times of the year, for example, Iowa, you are not just going to stay in your house.  Of course, you have to venture out of your house to buy groceries to survive.  But how do you get from your house to the store?  It’s easy, just take your car.  You’ll have to get snow tires on the card before you drive it.  Before the winter comes, you drivers in Ankeny, the greater Des Moines area and the rest of Iowa, might want to think about purchasing a new 2012 Ford Escape Hybrid SUV.  Try the new 2012 Ford Escape Hybrid SUV!!

Since the Chassis are higher in an SUV than cars, you will be able to see further down the road to watch out for accidents if there are any and plan an alternative route.  Also you will be helping the environment out by consuming less gas because hybrids are known for this.  Less gasoline consumption also means spending less cash at the pump, so you will have more of it for other things.  Finally, it is a sporty SUV that you will look good driving in.
